When will this wretched economy bottom out?

How will we know when the economy hits bottom?armageddon-financian-turndown

The economical downturn that has gripped the American homeland, spreading its depression like wings over the rest of the globe has been flopping steadfast for over 15 months and earns it so far the third longest downturns since World War II.

The economy always rebounds, it goes in cycles, and economics are looking at their computer screens for signs a turning point for the better.

The Associated Press examined three major markets – housing, jobs and stocks – and asked experts where things stand and how we can find out when things have hit rock bottom.

None of them expects it to come anytime soon.

For a really depressing read, follow through on the source of this article (link below); it reminds me of a scene out of Armageddon.

Oscar: Ok, Mr. Truman, let’s say that we actually do land on this. What’s it gonna be like up there?
Truman: 200 degrees in the sunlight, minus 200 in the shade, canyons of razor-sharp rock, unpredictable gravitational conditions, unexpected eruptions, things like that.
Oscar: Okay, so the scariest environment imaginable. Thanks. That’s all you gotta say, scariest environment imaginable.

… And that basically sums up the experts take on how things stand – “Scariest environment imaginable”… Thanks!

Financial downturn grips the world, but at least we don’t have a huge rock hurling at mother earth… What we need is Bruce Willis to come and rescue the day…  Economy sadness @ FPV

The economy is in shambles, it IS depressing to read about and I certainly hope that it rebounds sooner than later.

Your Armageddon made me laugh, Bruce Willis is usually not associated with economics! :)
