American torture vs Taliban torture
Let’s all face it, we all agree that torture is a bad thing; rarely (if ever) is it productive in scoring the latest scoop on terrorist terror plans and if you have it done to you – I am sure you would not appreciate it too much either.
With that serious tone, it is my pleasure to point you toward the scholar point of view from well known Steven Crowder.
In research for his Senate hearing featured on C-Span and ESPN last week, Mr. Crowder spent one year being tortured by Taliban forces and then an additional two years at Gitmo to have a better understanding of the difference between torture the old fashioned way vs the American way which includes such inhumane things as listening to childres songs and being laughed at naked.
… But believe me, this is not a laugh matter and Steven has a long resume to back up his findings; he has taught at both Princeton and Northern Illinois University for under priviliged Canadians and has published not one but twelve all top ten best seller academia books on the subject including the made for movie true story Armageddon, starring Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck and the bootylicious Billy Bob Thor.. err.. Liv Tyler.
NAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Steven Crowder is a no good wanna-be cannuck that according to his IMDB biography and I quote freely here ‘Born in Detroit, raised in Montreal, Steven Crowder really had nothing going for him until he turned twelve. It was at that age that he was awarded the covetet role of voicing the character “The Brain” in the hit children’s TV series “Arthur”.’
I hope that Steven has some sense of humor reading this or I am sure I will hear from his lawyers. and oh - did I mention that this guy is hilarious?
But seriously – Torture is a bad thing, don’t do it to your little brother, no matter how sick and tired you are of him playing with your stuff – … and check out Steven’s very adapt view on the subject, scholar or no; I am a fan!
